The recall is due to a burn hazard. The helicopter battery can overheat and catch fire. ThinkGeek has received five reports of the battery overheating, but no fires or injuries have been reported.

The recalled helicopters were sold on the ThinkGeek.com website during November 2006 for about $40. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled toy helicopters and contact ThinkGeek to receive a refund or a replacement product.
