The affected lighters are nine or 11 inches long and feature bodies in blue, red, orange, black, or green. The recall specifically includes lighters that have Spanish warnings but lack English warnings.

The lighters were sold at Wal-Mart stores from February 2006 through January 2007 for between $1 and $4. The hazard is that the missing English labels prevent consumers from reading precautionary information concerning proper use and operation, which could result in injury if instructions are not followed.
