The candles pose a fire and burn hazard because they can have excessive flame height. The company has received seven reports of flames contacting nearby combustibles, resulting in minor fires, smoke, and soot damage. Additionally, there have been four reports of burn injuries to consumers' hands.

These candles were sold at Spa at Home stores and Spaathome.com nationwide from October 2003 through December 2003 and October 2005 through December 2005 for between $9 and $50. Consumers should immediately stop using the candles and contact M & A Global Technologies at (866) 224-8811 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday for instructions on returning the product.
