The recall involves the Fish, Starfish, and Angelfish models, which feature bright pink or turquoise straps and soles with a wood-like appearance. The recall was issued because the metal tacks used to hold down the sides of the strap to the sole can detach or be pulled out, creating a laceration hazard. The company has not reported any incidents or injuries associated with the product.

The sandals were sold at Stride Rite, Brothers, Century 21, and Marshalls stores nationwide from March 2006 through April 2006 for approximately $12 to $20.
