The recalled bicycles feature a yellow and red painted flame pattern, a yellow fork, and a sticker with the words "Harley-Davidson" on the fork leg. The bicycles were manufactured in China and sold through a licensing arrangement with Harley-Davidson, though they were not manufactured by the motorcycle company.

The recall is due to a defect where the fork that holds the front wheel can separate at the weld. This failure can cause the rider to fall and suffer injuries. World Wide Cycle Supply has received 15 reports of fork welds breaking on these bicycles. Six riders have reported suffering injuries, including bruises, lacerations, and lost teeth to the face, hands, and mouth.

Consumers should stop riding the bicycle immediately and return it to a Toys "R" Us store for store credit in the amount of the purchase price. To verify if a bicycle is affected, check the serial number on the bottom bracket shell (located underneath the pedals) against the specific ranges listed in the official recall notice.
