The recall involves two specific four-piece sets: one containing three green shades and one ivory candle (code KMS8428, UPC 7 50197 88428 9), and the other containing blue, white, orange, and cream candles (code KMS8427, UPC 7 50197 88427 2). The code numbers and UPCs are located on the white box at the bottom of the packaging.

The recall was initiated because the candles can produce a high flame, which poses a risk of burn injuries to consumers. Kmart has received one report of a high flame associated with these products, but no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should stop using these candles immediately. To obtain a remedy, consumers can contact Global Gift Industries toll-free at (800) 622-6353 Ext. 255 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT Monday through Friday, or send an email to [email protected]. Alternatively, consumers may return the products to any Kmart store for a full refund.
