These products were sold at Kmart nationwide from September 2001 through March 2002 for about $5. The recalled items are six-sided, white ceramic, three-piece units measuring about 6 inches high, consisting of a tea light candleholder base, a potpourri pot, and a lid with six holes. A label on the bottom of the base reads "MADE IN CHINA."

The recall is being issued because flames from the tea light candles inside the pots can flare out of the side ventilation holes, which may cause burns to consumers. Candle-lite has received nine reports of tea lights overheating. One consumer reported receiving minor burns while attempting to extinguish a tea light.
