Model numbers are located on the body of the truck alongside the vehicle make and model names.

The recall was initiated because a problem with the circuit board causes the toy trucks to overheat, creating a fire and burn hazard. Nikko America has received five reports of the trucks overheating, which resulted in minor property damage caused by fire and smoke. No injuries have been reported.

Consumers should stop using the toy trucks immediately and contact Nikko America toll-free at (800) 736-4556 between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday, for instructions on returning the product for a free circuit board replacement.
