The candles were sold individually and in sets from March 2003 to February 2004 at Bath & Body Works and The White Barn Candle Company stores nationwide for prices ranging from $1.25 to $18.00.

The recall is being issued because the votive candles can burn with a high flame or an irregular flame, which poses a fire hazard to consumers. The company has received nine complaints regarding candles burning with a high flame, two of which involved minor injuries.

Consumers should stop using these recalled votive candles immediately. They can return the products to any Bath & Body Works or The White Barn Candle Company store for a merchandise credit, merchandise exchange, or a full cash refund.
