The recall is being issued because the tip of the wire that forms the frame for the connecting tunnel can become exposed, resulting in possible lacerations. LTD Commodities, Inc. received one report in which a child's leg was cut, requiring nine stitches.
The tent sets were sold by LTD Commodities, Inc. from May 2002 through November 2002 for about $23. Consumers should immediately stop using the tent set and contact LTD Commodities, Inc. to obtain instructions on how to return the connecting tunnel for a replacement at no charge. All consumers who purchased these tent sets were notified about the recall directly by LTD Commodities, Inc.
