Cannondale Recalls 2002-2003 ATVs Due to Front Shock Failure Risk

Cannondale has received 11 reports of these front shocks breaking apart. One consumer has suffered a broken leg as a result. The affected vehicles were sold by Cannondale dealers nationwide from February 2002 through September 2002 for $7,000. The ATVs have "Cannondale" and "Cannibal" on both sides of the bodywork, with "Cannondale" on the rear fenders and bodywork and "Cannibal" roughly inboard of the operator's knee location.
