Halo Burger, of Flint, Michigan, is recalling approximately 9,500 flashlights and batteries that were sold in kids meals. The multicolored flashlights, which measure about 6 inches in length and are made of translucent plastic, were distributed as a premium in Genesee and Saginaw Counties in Michigan from October 2002 through November 4, 2002. They were also sold individually for about $1.50. The flashlights include two "AA" batteries labeled "Spadelove Ultra."

The recall is being issued because the "AA" batteries can leak, which may cause skin irritation. Additionally, when disassembled, the flashlights contain small parts that pose a choking hazard to young children. Halo Burger has received two reports of young children experiencing minor skin irritation on their mouths from leaking flashlight batteries.
