Halo Recalls Children's Projector Flashlights for Button Battery Hazard

The recalled flashlights were distributed as part of Disney-branded care packages by the Starlight Children's Foundation to hospitals and healthcare facilities between February 2021 and June 2021.

The projector flashlights come in five character themes: Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Avengers, and ESPN. Each flashlight measures 3 inches long and 0.5 inches in diameter and is available in red, dark blue, or light blue. The flashlights contain four button cell batteries with model number LR41.

A child can disassemble the flashlight and access the button cell batteries inside, posing ingestion and choking hazards. HALO has received two reports of children accessing the batteries, and in one case, a child required surgery to remove a swallowed battery.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled flashlight away from children and stop using it. Contact HALO for a full refund and a pre-paid shipping label.
