Plain-English summary
Deere & Company, of Moline, Ill., is recalling about 8,000 John Deere LT series lawn tractors. The recall involves specific models manufactured from December 2000 through January 2001, including the LT 133A, LT 155B, LT 155C, LT 166E, LT 166F, LT 166G, and LT 166J. Consumers should stop using the recalled lawn tractors immediately and contact their nearest John Deere dealer to arrange for a free replacement fuel tank to be installed. For additional information, consumers can contact Deere at (800) 537-8233 or visit www.deere.com.
