The recall is due to a defect where the drive chain could come off the sprockets and lock the rear axle. This failure could cause the driver to lose control of the ATV and crash, potentially resulting in injury or death. CPSC and American Suzuki Motor Corp. have received one report of a chain coming off the sprockets, but no injuries were reported.
