The sets are labeled for children ages 2 years and older and were sold nationwide from March 1999 through April 2001 for $15 to $25.

The recalled hand mixers are yellow, blue, or red and are 5.5 inches long. They are sold with toy utensils, a rolling pin, a mixing bowl, and baking molds, packaged in a clear plastic tote. CPSC and BRIO have not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to this defect.

Consumers should take the hand mixer away from children immediately.
