The recalled sunglasses feature a pink tint, floating glitter in the temple, and "Barbie™" and "Mattel®" branding on the left earpiece, with "China" printed on the right. Manufactured under license with Mattel®, the sunglasses were sold nationwide at Target, Walgreens, and Bradlee's from June 1999 through August 2000 for about $6.

IMT Accessories has received one report of a six-year-old child suffering chemical burns in her right eye after the petroleum distillates leaked from the sunglasses while she was playing. Consumers should immediately stop children from wearing the sunglasses and return them to the store of purchase for a full refund.
