ATICO International USA Inc. is recalling approximately 530 candle holders due to a fire and burn hazard. The products are made of hard plastic in the shape of a squirrel sitting on the edge of a leaf, holding a marshmallow on a metal stick over a glass cup designed for a tealight candle. The plastic marshmallow can ignite when used with a burning candle.

The candle holders were sold at TOPS stores in New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio during September 2000 for about $5. The company has received two reports of fires, but no injuries have been reported. The products measure 4.5 inches high by 6.5 inches wide and feature a label on the bottom reading "Distributed by Food Hold USA, Inc., Atlanta, Georgia."
