The recall was initiated after the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) performed routine product testing that identified Listeria monocytogenes in the product. The meatball items were produced on October 2, 2023, and packaged on October 3, 2023. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
