Ford Ranger and Bronco Seat Height Adjustment Fastener Recall
Certain 2024–2026 Ford Ranger and Bronco vehicles have front seat frames with loose or dislodged height-adjustment bolts. If dislodged, the bolt may prevent the seat from properly restraining an occupant during a crash.

Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2024, 2025, and 2026 Ford Ranger and Bronco vehicles. The front seat frame height-adjustment pivot bolts may be loose or dislodged. If a bolt becomes dislodged, the seat frame may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
The recall affects approximately 179,698 vehicles across the 2024–2026 model years for both the Ranger and Bronco. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) of affected vehicles became searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning April 30, 2026.
Ford dealers will inspect and replace the pivot links and bolts as necessary at no cost to vehicle owners. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 22, 2026. Owners should contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 for appointment scheduling. Ford's reference number for this recall is 26S30.
