Triumph Motorcycles Recall: Alternator Wiring May Overheat and Cause Fire

The wiring that connects the alternator to the main harness connector may short circuit and overheat. This increases the risk of a fire or motorcycle crash.

A total of 8,849 motorcycles are affected. Owners were notified by mail on March 19, 2026. Motorcycles that were previously repaired under recall 24V785 will need to have the new remedy performed.

Dealers will replace the 2-piece connector body with a single in-line crimped connector solution for each of the three alternator wires, free of charge. Affected owners can contact Triumph customer service at 1-678-854-2010 or visit NHTSA.gov for more information using recall number 26V078000.
