Triumph motorcycle alternator wiring may short circuit and overheat
Triumph is recalling certain 2022-2024 Bonneville, Street Twin, Street Scrambler, Speed Twin 900 and Scrambler 900 motorcycles because the wiring between the alternator and main harness connector may short circuit.

Dealers will replace the current two-piece connector body with a single in-line crimped connector for each of the three wires from the alternator assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 19, 2026. Owners may contact the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
