VinFast VF8 driver assistance can steer unexpectedly during wide turns

VinFast is recalling certain 2023-2025 VF8 vehicles because the Advanced Driver Assistance System may activate during wide turns, causing steering movements that are difficult for the driver to override.

What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 4 covers structural vehicle defects: the system applies unintended steering input that the source states is difficult for the driver to override, taking directional control away from the driver.
