Entrada trailer wiring fault can lock up the trailer brakes

Forest River is recalling certain 2024-2026 East to West Entrada recreational vehicles because an incorrectly wired 7-way harness may cause the trailer brakes to lock up when the RV brakes are applied.

What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 4 covers structural vehicle defects: trailer brakes locking under braking can destabilise the combination, taking control away from the driver rather than degrading a function.
