Land Rover Recalls 2014-2017 Range Rovers for Suspension Defect

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC is recalling certain 2014-2017 Land Rover Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles. The recall addresses a defect where the front suspension upper knuckle joint may crack, which can result in the suspension arm detaching.
If the suspension arm detaches, it can cause a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash. This recall expands and replaces previous NHTSA recall number 24V840.
Dealers will inspect the front suspension knuckles and install a retaining bracket or replace the knuckle, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2026. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D019, N759, D041, and D027.
