What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a structural vehicle defect (brake line fitting) that compromises braking performance and increases the risk of a crash, meeting the criteria for a Severe rating.
Plain-English summary
Terminal Investment Corporation (TICO) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Pro Spotter trucks. The vehicles may be equipped with a non-DOT brake line fitting, which results in reduced braking performance. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."
Reduced brake performance can extend the distance required to stop, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall affects 2024 and 2025 model year TICO Pro Spotter trucks.
Dealers will inspect and replace the fitting as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 25, 2025. Owners may contact TICO customer service at 1-843-536-8139 for more information.
