Altec 2022-2024 Aerial Devices recalled for improper fuel line securing

Altec Industries, Inc. is recalling certain 2022-2024 TA Series, AT Series, L Series, LR Series Aerial Devices, and AF Series Forestry bodies due to fuel line issues.
The fuel lines in these devices may not be properly secured. Unsecured fuel lines can chafe and develop leaks. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of fire.
This recall affects approximately 2,461 units. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 27, 2025.
To remedy the issue, Altec will provide instructions to inspect the fuel lines. If the lines are improperly secured, Altec will provide a kit to secure them. If the lines are damaged, the chassis manufacturer will repair them. All repairs are performed free of charge. Owners should contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY: 1-888-275-9171).
