Ford Motor Company is recalling certain model year 2023–2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E, Maverick, and Bronco Sport vehicles due to a defect affecting the front windshield wiper motor. Approximately 86,852 vehicles are affected.

The front windshield wiper motor may become inoperative, causing the windshield wipers to fail. Inoperative windshield wipers can reduce visibility in certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.

Affected vehicles are the 2023 Mustang Mach-E, 2023 Maverick, 2024 Maverick, 2023 Bronco Sport, 2024 Bronco Sport, and 2024 Mustang Mach-E. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 6, 2024.

Ford dealers will inspect and replace the windshield wiper motor as necessary at no cost to the owner.
