Plain-English summary

Daimler Trucks North America, LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Thomas Built Buses Saf-T-Liner C2 and Saf-T-Liner C2 Jouley school buses. The recall involves 629 vehicles. The defect is that the ground cable for the air conditioning system may have been improperly installed, which can cause the cable to overheat.

An overheated ground cable can increase the risk of a fire. DTNA has not reported any accidents, injuries, or deaths associated with this defect.
