2025 Freightliner Business Class M2 park brake failure recall
Daimler Trucks North America is recalling 2024-2025 Freightliner Business Class M2 vehicles because the park brake valve module may leak, causing park brake failure or unexpected engagement while driving.

Daimler Trucks North America is recalling certain 2024 and 2025 Freightliner Business Class M2 vehicles. A rubber ball seal in the Intellipark Park Valve Module (PVM) may fracture, causing a leak in the park brake system.
When the park brake system leaks, the vehicle may lose park brake function or experience unexpected park brake engagement while driving. Either condition increases the risk of a crash.
Approximately 220 vehicles are affected. Owners should contact Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) customer service at 1-800-547-0712 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 to arrange a free replacement of the Park Valve Module. Owner notification letters were mailed August 2, 2024.
