Nissan Murano quarter glass panels can detach from the vehicle

Nissan is recalling certain 2024 Murano vehicles because incorrect primer may have been used on the quarter glass, allowing the left and right panels to detach and become a road hazard.

What this means for you

Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.

Our severity reasoning: Rubric level 4 covers structural vehicle defects: a bonding failure that allows glass panels to detach from a moving vehicle is a structural defect creating a road hazard for other traffic.
