A2ZEV (A2Z) is recalling certain NACS to CCS1 Original Typhoon/Slider Lock Charger Adapters with part numbers NC1V10124DC and NC1V10224DC-ILW. The recall addresses a defect where the locking mechanism on the adapter may become damaged and come loose from the NACS connector. This failure can cause the charger to overheat.

An overheating charger increases the risk of personal injury to the operator. A2Z will replace the Version 1 NACS to CCS1 adapter with the Version 2 adapter free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 27, 2024.
