2022-2024 Forest River Motorhomes Recalled for Unintended Slideroom Extension

Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2022-2024 Forester and Sunseeker motorhomes due to a defect in the park brake signal wire connection. The park brake signal wire may not be connected to the house battery control center, which can allow the slideroom to extend during transit.

An unexpectedly extended slideroom while driving increases the risk of a crash. No injuries or crashes have been reported to date.

Forest River will remedy this defect at no cost to owners. Dealers will connect the signal wire to the battery control center. Owners were notified by mail on December 12, 2023.
