NHTSA safety advisory
Park this vehicle outside

This is the agency’s own advisory, not our assessment. Contact the manufacturer or a dealer, and see the official NHTSA notice for the current guidance.
What this means for you
Illness, injury, or structural failure has been reported. Stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer for a refund or repair.
Our severity reasoning: This recall involves a structural vehicle defect in the electrical and propulsion systems—improperly tightened cables that can overheat and cause fires. While no deaths or serious injuries have been reported, the fire hazard from electrical system faults in operating or parked vehicles meets the criteria for Severe classification per the rubric.
