The power inverter in these units converts electrical DC power to AC power but may have been installed without a circuit breaker to protect the AC output circuit. Without this protective circuit breaker, the AC circuit could overheat and create a fire risk.

Altec will install a 20-amp circuit breaker in the AC circuit free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on December 21, 2023.
