Outback Customs is recalling certain 2020-2023 horse trailers and 2021-2022 Sprinter Vans equipped with SDS2 cooktops. Aluminum burner tubes may fracture and leak gas, increasing fire risk.

The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may fracture, causing a gas leak. In the presence of an ignition source, a gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.
The recall includes 2020-2022 4 Star, 2022 CM, 2022 Featherlite, 2020-2023 Cimarron, 2020-2023 Double D, 2020-2023 Elite, 2020-2023 Platinum horse trailers, 2022 Dodge RAM RCA, and 2021-2022 Mercedes Sprinter Vans equipped with the affected cooktops. Approximately 317 units are affected.
Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2023. Dealers will install a support bracket, or replace the burner tubes or stove as necessary, free of charge.
