The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may fracture, causing a gas leak. In the presence of an ignition source, a gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.
The recall includes 2020-2022 4 Star, 2022 CM, 2022 Featherlite, 2020-2023 Cimarron, 2020-2023 Double D, 2020-2023 Elite, 2020-2023 Platinum horse trailers, 2022 Dodge RAM RCA, and 2021-2022 Mercedes Sprinter Vans equipped with the affected cooktops. Approximately 317 units are affected.
Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2023. Dealers will install a support bracket, or replace the burner tubes or stove as necessary, free of charge.
