3M is recalling specific lots of Flexible Prismatic Conspicuity Tape that may not be adequately reflective at certain angles, potentially reducing vehicle visibility.
What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a safety-critical component (conspicuity tape) where reduced visibility increases the risk of a crash, fitting the criterion for risk-of-harm products where injury has not yet been reported.
