Plain-English summary

Honda is recalling approximately 1,740 certain 2020-2022 GL1800 Gold Wing motorcycles equipped with manual transmissions. The recall addresses an ignition timing software error in the engine control unit (ECU).

The software error may reduce engine performance and cause the engine to stall while the motorcycle is in operation. An engine stall while riding can increase the risk of a crash.
