2022 Grand Design Momentum Travel Trailer Electrical Fire Hazard Recall
Grand Design is recalling 165 model-year 2022 Momentum travel trailers due to improper 110-volt electrical wiring that can overheat and create a fire risk. Dealers will rewire the power supply at no cost.

Grand Design RV, LLC is recalling approximately 165 model-year 2022 Momentum travel trailers due to an electrical wiring defect.
The 110-volt power supply wire was incorrectly wired directly into the solar inverter. This improper wiring configuration can overload the circuit and cause the power supply wire to overheat, increasing the risk of fire.
Owners should contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679 or visit their dealer. Grand Design will rewire the 110-volt power wire at no charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 25, 2022.
