What this means for you

Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.

Our severity reasoning: A gas leak creating fire risk is a significant hazard, but the recall notice reports no injuries, deaths, or incidents. Per the rubric, risk-of-harm products without reported injury are scored as High.

Plain-English summary

Cruiser RV is recalling certain 2022 model year travel trailers, including the Shadow Cruiser, Twilight, Stryker, Embrace, MPG, Radiance Ultra-Lite, and Hitch models. The recalled vehicles may have cracked quick disconnect fittings in their LP gas systems.

The cracked fittings can cause leaks in the LP gas lines. When LP gas leaks in the presence of an ignition source, there is an increased risk of fire.

Approximately 2,985 travel trailers are affected by this recall. Owners were notified by mail on June 29, 2022.

Dealers will inspect and replace the cracked fittings free of charge. For service, owners can contact Cruiser customer service at 1-574-206-7920 or visit www.nhtsa.gov. The NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline can be reached at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153).
