Forest River is recalling certain 2021–2023 recreational vehicles because quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may crack and leak, creating a fire risk in the presence of an ignition source.

Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2021–2023 recreational vehicles including Coachmen, Forest River, East to West, Prime Time, Palomino, and Shasta models. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system on these vehicles may be cracked, which can cause LP gas to leak. In the presence of an ignition source, a gas leak can increase the risk of fire.

Affected models include, among others, Coachmen Freelander, Adrenaline, Apex, Catalina, and Leprechaun; Forest River Cedar Creek, Cherokee, Stealth, and Wildcat; and East to West, Prime Time, Palomino, and Shasta models. Owner notification letters were mailed on May 20, 2022.

Owners should contact their vehicle dealer to arrange a free replacement of the quick disconnect fittings and a full LP system check.
