Seagrave Fire Apparatus, LLC is recalling certain 2021 Capitol and Marauder vehicles equipped with Meritor 180 series drive pinions. The recall addresses a defect where the rear axle drive pinion may fracture.

A fractured drive pinion may contact the brake drop hose, causing the parking brake to engage unintentionally without detection or brake light activation. This condition increases the risk of a crash.
