The missing protective panel poses a fire safety hazard. Without the panel, cargo stored in the mid-deck area could contact the furnace wiring and other furnace components, resulting in an electrical short and increasing the risk of fire.
125 vehicles are affected by this recall. Owners should contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-642-0432 to schedule the repair. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 1, 2021. The remedy involves installation of a felt-covered wall panel at no charge. Forest River's internal recall number is 79-1432.
