Jayco Travel Trailers Recalled for Potential Gas Leak Risk

Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2019-2020 Jayco White Hawk, Jay Flight SLX, Jay Feather, and Jay Flight travel trailers. These vehicles are equipped with Dometic 3-burner cooking stoves where the saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened. This condition can damage the o-ring seal, resulting in a continuous gas leak.

A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire. The recall affects 18,636 units. Dometic service centers will install a remedy kit containing gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts, and two round orange labels free of charge.

Owner notification letters were mailed on May 3, 2021. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
