E-One Incorporated is recalling certain 2018-2020 Cyclone 2 and Typhoon ambulances. The recall addresses a defect in the lower shock mount bracket, which may cause the U-bolts to bind and break. This failure can prevent the rear axle from remaining secured to the vehicle.
If the rear axle becomes unsecured, it may shift sideways. This movement can result in a loss of control of the vehicle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash. The recall began on September 21, 2020.
