Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. is recalling certain 2020-2021 Super-Lite 19RD travel trailers. The recall addresses a potential safety defect in the rear axle assembly where the clearance between the axle and the black water holding tank may be insufficient when the tank is full.
This insufficient clearance may result in the axle contacting the black water holding tank. Such contact can create a hole in the tank, causing its contents to spill onto the roadway, which increases the risk of a crash.
Gulf Stream will notify owners, and dealers will replace the axle with a drop axle to allow more clearance between the top of the axle tube and the black water holding tank.
