What this means for you
Real risk of harm even if no illness or injury has been reported yet. Stop using the product and follow the agency's guidance.
Our severity reasoning: The recall involves a risk-of-harm product where a detached component creates a road hazard and increases crash risk, but no injuries or fatalities are reported in the source text.
Plain-English summary
Keystone RV Company is recalling certain 2019-2020 Keystone Carbon, Cougar, Fuzion, Impact, and Raptor fifth-wheel trailers. These vehicles are equipped with a Furrion over-the-air (OTA) wing-style television antenna that may separate from the mounting base during transit.
If the antenna detaches from the trailer while moving, it may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall covers 8,313 affected units.
Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will replace the Furrion wing-style antenna with a Winegard dome-style antenna free of charge. The recall began on August 27, 2020. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369 or the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
