A bed step that unexpectedly fails while in use increases the risk of injury to the user. Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the bed step support brace free of charge. The recall began on July 9, 2020, for RAM 2500 models and on October 6, 2020, for RAM 3500 models.
