Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2018 XLR recreational trailers, specifically models XLT26HFS, XLT26HFS-W, and XLT27KW. The affected vehicles were not equipped with a liquid propane (LP)/carbon monoxide (CO) detector.

Without this detector, occupants may not be alerted to high levels of carbon monoxide, which increases the risk of injury. Forest River has notified owners, and dealers will install an LP/CO detector free of charge. The recall began on February 6, 2019.
