Vantage AMS Edge II Recalled for Fuel Leak Fire Risk

Vantage Mobility International, LLC is recalling certain 2014-2017 Vantage AMS Edge II vehicles. The recall addresses a defect where the fuel pump gasket may deteriorate, allowing fuel to leak. This condition causes the vehicles to fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 301, "Fuel System Integrity."
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire. The recall began on January 28, 2019. Vantage has notified owners, and repair facilities will replace the fuel tank with a redesigned fuel tank, free of charge.
