The recall involves a defect in the passenger seat belt assembly where a mounting washer may break. If this occurs, the seat belt may separate from the vehicle.
If the seat belt end does not remain secured to the vehicle, the occupant will not be restrained in the event of a crash, increasing their risk of injury. The recall began on August 20, 2018, and supersedes recall 18V376.
